Our curriculum is based on our Christian faith, our understanding of child development, and our knowledge of each individual child.  Through our active learning environment, children have experiences that:

• Encourage a positive feeling of self-worth and a positive Christian self-image as children of God.
• Build cooperative relationships with other children and their teachers.
• Help them become better thinkers, better problem solvers, better communicators and more creative.
• Develop their ability to make choices, explore, question, invent, and problem solve to become capable learners.
• Form the skills, attitudes, and concepts that enable them to make sense of the world and be successful in school and in life.
• Support large motor and fine motor development.

Our Daily Schedule:

6:30 - 8:45 Sign-in/ Bathroom/ Center Fun

8:45 - 9:00 Clean - up Time - Library Time

9:00 - 9:15 Opening Group (Hello, Calendar, Weather, Prayer)

9:15 - 9:30 Bible Time (Bible Stories, finger plays, songs, passages)

9:30 - 9:45 Snack Time (Wash hands, snack)

9:45 - 10:00 Theme Group (Discussion of "theme of the day", stories, finger plays, and songs)

10:00 - 10:15 Small group activities (Letters, Numbers, Art, Table-top Toys)

10:15 - 11:00 Center Time (Each child makes plans for play in the center areas)

11:00 - 11:10 Clean up Time - Bathroom Time

11:10 - 11:30 Circle Time

11:30 - 12:00 Outside Time / Large Motor Play

12:00 -12:45 Lunch (Mats ready for nap, wash hands, books, puzzles)

12:45 - 1:00 Story Time / Prayers

1:00 -3:00 Nap Time

3:00 -3:15 Wake-up / mats away / bathroom / table toys

3:15 - 3:30 Snack Time

3:30 - 3:45 Clean-up / Table Toys

3:45 - 4:15 Outside Time

4:15 -5:30 Center Time (Plan for play)

5:30 -6:00 Story Time / Table Toys / Good-byes
